DIE!! SPARKLEDOGS DIE!!!

It once occured to me that there were alot of anthro dog like figureson DevArt..
It annoyed me.. I commented on the fact that these 'things' should be stopped..
Today i found out that these 'things' are called sparkledogs and i have decided that this trend has to officially die.. It's horrible.. all these fluffly rainbow colored dog like 'things' that are always happy or act out some kind of soap/drama scene.. and the thing also is that almost every goddamn dog looks just like the other dog.. so wheres the originality?
Looking at the creators of these 'things' i have concluded that the emo scene is heavily involved in this trend... i beg of the people who find it nessecary to draw these 'things' to stop.. just stop.. never ever! pick up a pen or mouse or whatever you use ever again.. and never ever mis use another dog again for your own so called 'fantasies' (which are totally copied of one another).. the dogs just want to be stroked fed and played with.. they do not need unicorn horns and rainbows... seriously..

anyway... this concludes this rant.. I have just woken up and i am the kind of person with a morning mood... and this was a great way to ventilate it and maybe also get some of this DevArt sparkle dog spamming to stop..

Also i am going to do a piece on it...

if you think about it... we the people get swamped with alot of nonsense... everything we read in the papers... all the things we here on the radio and everything we see on our television or internet...
All this in the name of entertainment... Personally i find it a shame...
Entertainment is a good thing... its distraction from the daily slur... but there is one problem with entertainment these days... and that is that the quality of the 'nonsense' entertainment is getting less by the minute..

Alle the shows and all the magazines are shoveling so much bull**** into our faces that we have lost our ability to be critical.... An actual demand for low level crap has been created.... just think about the stupid celebrity stories that always make the frontpage... every little drama gets blown way out of preportian... and then not to speak of all the realityshows that the televisionset is nuked with.... what happend to a bit of morale in entertainment...
Morale has been eaten and spat out by greed for money and power.. and the shows that aren't 100% bull**** are also run by this greed... you cant stop that.. but even so there are shows that still have some significant content to them... not neccerally superinformative... but not stupifying either... so lets get a bit selective again....
im not attacking people here at random... this is just a thought that has been keeping me busy and i wanted to share it..

I actually feel the same way. It really pisses me off. For instance over here in Ireland we have one main TV station that is called RTÉ. They have a set budget to develop new TV shows okay... and it is nearly impossible , for an animator, to get funded by them to make say an animation short or even TV series. What they do instead is they buy animated series from abroad in other countries to show on their station, rather than giving it to the Irish companies. Back to your point though which is related to this is that RTÉ have brought out a new TV show called J1 in America, which is about 5/6 Irish students that go out to America and follows them getting pissed drunk, cursing, fucking etc. This must have cost alot of money to send these fucking idiots out to the US only to get shitfaced!! The money for this could have easily been put into making a nice animated short/ series...
